Bazarpash stated that Iran Road is considered as a gateway to the land, logistics and transit opportunities of the Islamic Republic of Iran and is a solid and promising basis for the transformation of the transportation and transit relations between the two countries and the promotion of cooperation. He said: We will pursue the establishment of the East-West, China-Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Europe route through consultation with the Chinese, Kazakh and Turkmen parties. The Minister of Roads and Urban Development mentioned the activation of the Ashgabat Corridor and its development and commercialization with the cooperation of other members, especially Turkmenistan, as the trustee party of this agreement, as one of the plans of our country. Bazarpash stated: We are pursuing the development of Caspian-Bana cooperation and partnerships through the development of maritime and port relations and combined transportation with Turkmenistan in the east to west and north to south of the Caspian Sea. Bazerpash said: We welcome and support joint programs to develop transportation exchanges and speed up and facilitate time, costs, and tariffs at border, road, rail, and port terminals and in the territory of each country. He emphasized that the determination of the two countries is to create a transformation and leap in all-round economic relations, especially in the sectors of trade, transportation and transit, oil, gas, electricity and technical engineering services.
